A traveler needed to stay the night at a suburban motel. The woman at the counter handed him his keys and told him that on the way to his room there's an empty locked room and he was not supposed to go in there or peep through the keyhole. The lady at the counter made it clear by repeating it several times.
As the traveler was walking to his room, he came across the locked. He gave a quick to its door that said 13 engraved on it, as the lady's warning has already intrigued his curiosity. But as he was utterly tired he went straight to his room and slept. Although he was disturbed a couple of times from the noises coming from the other room, it wasn't that much of a bother.
The next night, his curiosity gave in and he finally looked through the keyhole. It was a normal room like his with a pale lady dressed in her wedding dress, standing in one corner of the room, leaning her head against the wall, facing away from the door. As the lady turned sharply, the traveller jumped back from the door, hoping she didn't see him.
He didn't say anything to the lady at the counter. The next night, when he was about to check out, he gave it one more shot and peeped through the keyhole but this time all he could see was a pricky shade of red colour.
While handing his key to the counter, he was a bit nervous. The lady asked,"You looked through the keyhole, didn't you" and the traveler, with a little hesitation, said, "Yes". The lady, with a straight face, "So you might as well listen to the story too, a long time ago, A man killed his wife on their wedding day in that room. She was a pale woman, all dressed in white." And with a malicious grin, she said," Except for the horrible red eyes".
